- Virtual Service Delivery: All tax, payroll, and Remote Online Notarization (RON) services are conducted entirely online using secure cloud networks, digital portals, and encrypted audio-video technology.
- Client Responsibility: Clients are solely responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely financial records and identification. Harris Accounting Firm assumes no liability for IRS penalties, payroll errors, or missed deadlines caused by delayed or inaccurate data.
- RON Compliance: Digital notary sessions require strict identity verification, credential analysis, and a compatible device with a working camera and microphone. We reserve the right to decline notarization if compliance or identity standards are not met.
- Data Security: We utilize industry-standard encryption to protect your data. By transmitting sensitive financial information online, clients acknowledge the inherent security risks of internet-based communications.
- Payments & Cancellations: Base notary fees are due at booking. Tax and payroll solutions require an executed engagement letter. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a rescheduling fee.
- For your peace of mind and protection, Harris Accounting Firm maintains full Errors & Omissions professional liability insurance coverage across all digital and virtual service sectors.
Return and Refund Policy
Refund & Cancellation PolicyBecause Harris Accounting Firm operates with a fully virtual footprint providing digital and professional services, we do not have a physical "return" policy. Our refund and appointment cancellation guidelines are structured as follows:
- Tax & Payroll Consultations: Initial strategy and discovery sessions are complimentary. Fees for ongoing tax preparation or monthly payroll services are governed by your signed engagement letter and are non-refundable once professional analysis or document preparation has commenced.
- Remote Online Notarization (RON): The baseline booking fee covers your digital slot, secure communication link, and credential analysis. If a session cannot be completed due to client technology issues, missing identification, or failure to pass identity verification, the session fee is non-refundable, but we will gladly credit it toward a rescheduled appointment.
- Cancellation Notice: We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule any booked appointment. Sessions missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a nominal rescheduling fee to protect our digital calendar workflow.
